Just look at these images which represent some favorite scenes from Model Train layouts!
Each scene features a slightly different product application.
FIRST ROW-Left to Right:
HIKING TRAIL shows vertical application of FusionFiber. Wet washes of acrylic paint for color of rock cut. Lines were drawn on wet fiber mixture with palette knife.
FLOWER BOXES are filled and flowers planted into wet FusionFiber with toothpick
SMALL BUSHES and ground covers give realistic look
FARM SCENE with cow path. Easy to make tracks in wet FusionFiber mixture.
SECOND ROW-Left to Right:
FALL HIKING TRAIL.
BACKDROP with FusionFiber mixture vertically applied and then flock is pressed into wet mixture. Once dry the backdrop can be curved with no worry of cracking.
DIRT ROAD illustrates the ability to layer ground covers without glue!Remember? The GLUE is already in FusionFiber!
ROCK FACING: The RED already in True Scene's Colorado Clay shows through when tinted with charcoal tinting powder for a natural multi-colored rock effect.
THIRD ROW- Left to Right
SUMMER HIKING TRAIL with mix of ground covers. Stones are embedded into most fiber layer first, followed by ground covers. The final step of misting all with "wet water" allows ground covers to run off stones.
PLOWED FARM FIELD rows are made with a pencil for large scale.
STATIC GRASS application is easy. Simply press exposed wire into wet FusionFiber and go.
CINDERS AND FINE BALLAST over FusionFiber for train yard.
BOTTOM ROW LEFT:
BOTTOM ROW CENTER RIGHT Three-photo sequence shows Before-During-After images of the project "Bury the OIL WELLS":
First image shows unrealistic base on which oil wells stand. Next image shows STEP ONE: Add plastic mesh. Third image shows finished scene with FusionFiber applied followed by flock and ground cover.
