"We love your product! It mixes and colors easily and doesn't fall through the screening like plaster does. I was able to lay the base coat and then add loose grass, weeds, rocks, etc. without having to rush to beat the hardening cycle."
-- S.V. and J.N. Mahwah, NJ Museum
"I am enjoying working with the product. It's much cleaner and more flexible than Sculptamold. I've found that a hand held potato masher works great in mixing and blending the product."
-- B.T. Cumming, GA
"The material is really nice to work with. I did approx. 12 linear ft. in 2 hrs. Your product is less costly and less time-consuming that resin casting, also cleaner! In my opinion, results are excellent.
-- B.P. Buffalo, WY
"Just used your product for the first time and am totally impressed. I have been a Model RR for over 35 years and am building my 5th layout. I have never seen anything that comes close to this product for ease of use, cleanliness, or immediate positive appearance. Thanks so much for making this available."
-- J. D. Gresham, OR
"In the absence of Perma-Scene, this stuff is GREAT!"
--Bob Cairo, Philadelphia, PA
"Tried one bag and now ordering 2 more. Love the stuff!"
--Maryland Customer
"Thought I was a real dummy when it came to scenery but your product makes it easy."
--Western NY Customer
"In the time I'd have to wait for my plaster to dry, Bill had the whole scene finished!"
--Lloyd Swarts, Flower City Tinplate Trackers - Rochester, NY
TESTIMONIAL:
As a professional layout builder I’m always looking for new materials and methods to improve quality and save construction time. True Scene™ Modeling Fibre is one of the most useful modeling products to come along in many years. No other product I’ve ever used has offered the same unique mix of properties.
True Scene™ Modeling Fibre allows you to build and alter the terrain of a layout at will. When a client buys a new structure that has to find a home on a layout you can wet down the Fibre and reshape the terrain. There’s no need to break out plaster hard shell. No danger of damaging other scenery with harsh pounding or cutting. You simply re-wet the Fibre and reshape it with the same care as your original construction. It’s the best way I’ve found to future proof your scenery.
Mixing True Scene™ Modeling Fibre with acrylic paint lets you build terrain with color that is more than skin deep. When you add your choice of pigments to the Fibre the color is mixed throughout the material, rather than simply laying on the surface. A dropped tool or derailed train won’t chip the surface and ruin the color of your terrain. There’s never a bright pink spot of foam in the middle of your carefully colored hillside.
When dry, True Scene™ Fibre is a tough fibre-reinforced composite material. If you build layouts with the expectation they will be moved you will find True Scene Modeling Fibre very useful. No other scenery product I’ve used has proven to be as durable. It won’t chip like brittle plaster and it won’t dent like soft polystyrene foam.
I’ve been using True Scene™ Modeling Fibre since May 2009. I have never been offered or requested any compensation or consideration from True Scene™ Modeling. I highly recommend True Scene™ Modeling Fibre because I like it and use it frequently in my business.
